Working from observation, memory, and lived experience, Robin Arnitz's paintings examine how domestic spaces become repositories for expectation, intimacy, labor, and identity. Pattern functions as both structure and metaphor—flattening space while revealing the psychological tensions embedded in everyday life.

Her recent work expands beyond autobiography to consider the shifting identities of women through caregiving, relationships, work, and midlife.
